OCD Memory…

The lasso with which we capture the past

Like a silver meander of a slugs trail

The rosary of time tied together

Like a mist of thoughts forming a cloud

The ocd mind, like a jumbled poem

Full of mental leaps and jumps

Like tiny fireflies forever leaping

Into a brightly lit lantern of thoughts

Minutes turn into long highways

Compelling compulsions rule with iron claw

They grip the worn litany of memories

And turn them round in continual axis

Hoarding fear in the attic of a mind

Ocd memories spin around relentlessly

Scattering their suffocating leaves

Like small untamed thrashing birds
